Photography's been a life-long passion for Don, ever since he received his first Kodak Brownie from his grandfather, a teacher and artist. Besides studying photography and design during high school and college, Don worked at a major commercial photography studio, focusing primarily on the production aspects of photography. He later managed the photography and graphic design department for a major aerospace firm, including video production and printing projects.

Don has also been a tenured professor of graphic design, image capture, correction and print production at a Southern California college for 25 years. After dedicating many years to teaching others how to produce their own imagery, he has recently been refocusing on his personal photography and design.

For over 25 years, Don's own company has provided photography, graphic design, branding and logo development, and printing production services to local businesses. Don has also provided small group and one-on-one Photography/Photoshop training.

A California native, camping, sports and biking enthusiast, Don actively takes nature shots whenever possible. He's also driven his vintage truck across America, several times, capturing the uniquely beautiful scenery of all the 50 U.S. states. In addition to nature subjects, Don specializes in sports and sporting events, automotive, products, and B2B assignments, and, of course, people and pets.

His work has been featured in industrial publications and sales collateral, as well as in local magazines and newspapers.
